This phone has been sitting on a very high shelf in my garage for close to 10 years. There were 7 Northern Electric 500 phones up there. I didn’t even remember about this one. I brought the phone into the phone room and opened it up. To my surprise it is a date matching 1966 Northern Electric 500 C/D. I gave it a good cleaning. It has a unique 1967 Montreal Expo logo on a Northern Electric dial disk. It has area code 514 for Montreal. I believe this may have been a pre-Expo 67 disk put on the phone prior to the Exhibition.
