As received before a light cleaning. 1966 Northern Electric 233QA. It was missing the top 21B key and a bottom cash box lock. I had a spare 21B key and when I opened the top of the phone, there was a note in there saying it was sold by Newfoundland Telephone which matches the area code on the number card. I did a reverse number search, the 709-722-9865 is a Landline phone number operated by Aliant Telecom (NF) and is located in the city of St. John’s in Newfoundland. Most of the parts are dated 1966, the fellow I received this phone from said that this had been his late father in-laws. He said his father in-law had this phone for at least the last forty years stored under the basement stairs. It had been covered in sawdust.
Light cleaning added top flag and bottom cash box lock. Replaced handset and armoured cord.
