We had a whopping annual budget of $13.5 million, and my first project was to design the first Canadian telephone, called the Contempra. It was a worldwide success, featured in New York’s Museum of Modern Art and the Canadian Museum of Civilization. I don’t think there’s a person in Canada who hasn’t used one of my products.
