This is a rare Northern Telecom beta type video terminal, circa 1988. This NT branded monochrome unit was a beta unit made for demonstrations purposes. These were made for Bell Canada under the trade name Alextel by Northern Telecom for videotext online services. Has a 1200 baud internal modem. These units were eventually withdrawn from service and scrapped.
